Help 4 You!

To my friends around the world,
  So, there's a highly venomous Egyptian cobra loose in the Brooklyn Zoo!  They think it is contained in the zoo, but can't say for sure.  Friend, I would be out of there sooooooo fast!
  Before I go any further, at the bottom of this blog is a video of Cherie Peters who was on the streets at 13.  She suffered many forms of abuse & addictions, and she has been delivered!  At the right, the top link button is her ministry site, and you can contact her.  There's help for you or your loved one! You will be blessed by taking a listen!!!!!!! 
  You know, addictions are kind of like that cobra.  We don't like to advertise them, but instead usually try to hide them.  They can be very toxic to our bodies, our minds, our emotions, our relationships, our jobs, our finances and most of all our relationship with God.  We all have "stuff" we have to let God handle and heal.  Addiction can take on many forms.  There are sexual addictions, perfectionism, workaholism, legal & illegal substance abuse, pornography, hunger for power, addictions to gossip, money, gambling, being critical of others, food addictions, and the list goes on.  God has to deliver all of us from this venom called sin.  That's why Jesus came.  Ephesians 4:7,8 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. Wow, Jesus already made your captivity captive!  He's just waiting for you to ask for help, so He can intervene and deliver you!  We ALL need His healing!  He is healing me and I praise Him for it!!!!!!! 
  I had a close family member who went through Meth addiction, but God delivered that family member and they have been clean for 5 years!  It is hard to watch them going through the process,  as some people disappear for a time, may wreck vehicles, may go to jail, lose their family, or be absent on holidays, or you just witness their physical, emotional or mental decline.  It is that much more wonderful seeing them freed by God's grace!  God is able to heal from any addiction or situation!                                                                    There is a God shaped vacuum inside each of us, and nothing else can fill it.  If you want real adventure, give your life to Jesus!  Try a mission trip!  True adventure is when you can reach out to humanity and supply a need where self doesn't enter the picture.  True adventure is asking God for a miracle, and then seeing it happen!  Is there anything adventurous that you have done that even compares with the parting of the Red Sea, or the sun standing still, or the dead waking up when Jesus commanded them to?  Jesus is alive, real and awesome, for you!!!!!!!                                                          
  As God speaks in Isaiah 42:7,8, Jesus was sent, " "To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, [and] them that sit in darkness out of the prison house,  I [am] the LORD: that [is] my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images,"  Luke 1:37, For with God nothing shall be impossible.   In John 10:10 Jesus said,"The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly."  Jesus urgently wants to heal you and give you peace and assurance in your heart.  Why don't you give your heart to Him. It doesn't matter where you've been or where you are, His love is still the same.  There's nothing you can do to make God love you more, and there's nothing you can do to make Him love you less.  Don't believe the destroyer.  It's NOT too late, and you haven't gone too far!  God sometimes allows pain so we will see our need of Him, but there is a blessing there because God always turns around for good what satan means for evil, and allows us to help others in the same situation, at some point.  God throws the pain back in the enemy's face every time, if we ask!

Subway Spaghetti Fight

To my friends around the world,
  I just learned about a story where a woman started eating spaghetti on a Brooklyn subway, and another woman started chiding her about it.  It escalated into a fight, and a guy had to help break them up.  What I see missing in this story is love and compassion. Wouldn't it be great to hear a subway spaghetti story where someone shared their spaghetti with someone on the subway?!  In  John 13:34,35 God spoke, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." This is not a suggestion, but a command.  And when God commands something, He also puts the ability in our hearts:-)
  What would Jesus have done?  He would have offered His food to feed a hungry person on the subway.  He would have multiplied His food to feed every hungry person on the subway, and then every hungry person in NYC!  He would have spoken lovingly to both women, and asked them how their lives were going, and He would have asked what their hearts were feeling, and would have inquired about their needs.  He would have let them know that He loved them deeply, and if they would accept Him, He would be their Savior, their Helper, and that they would be totally forgiven of every sin they had ever committed  He would have let them know that it wasn't just about the here and now, but about the hope of eternal life!  He would have been love on full, selfless display, just like He displayed in His life, in the stories about Him in the Bible.  He fed thousands with 5 small loaves of bread and 2 fish.  He healed whole villages of all sickness. Even as a boy, I'm sure He shared his food with the hungry, spoke comfort to the lonely and grieving, and I imagine He put an arm around them and prayed with them, and held them close.  He split the Red Sea in two for His people Israel, and He will do even more for you.
  Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments."  The first four of the 10 commandments are about vertical love to God, and the last 6 are about horizontal love to our fellow humans.  Get the first 4 right by putting God first, and the rest will follow!
  The next time you are out and about, try to show someone a Gesture Of love (GOlove), and see how great it makes you feel!  Try it in your home, at your place of work, at school, at your place of worship, at the store, everywhere you go!  There are hurting people all around you. You may even be hurting, but this will heal!  Because of this subway story,  I am going to make it a point this week to let God love through me daily, and He will be glorified, and the world around us will be better off for it!!!!!!!
  Dear Heavenly Father,
     Please forgive me for being so ungrateful and unthankful, and fill me to overflowing with your love.  Forgive me of my selfishness and all of those I have mistreated or overlooked, and fill me with the love of Jesus.  Let me touch all of those around me with compassion, and let the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:12 be in me, magnified, so that You are glorified, "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets," in Jesus' name, amen.

Scared Baby! Happy Baby!

To all of my friends around the world,
  I had a dog video on here, but due to the discovery of one of the bottom play lists videos that was available, I pulled the video.  Please watch the baby video!
  When we sin it is written all over us, on our face, and as scars on our hearts.  We are all guilty of sin before God, until we come to Jesus Christ and accept Him into our heart, and let Him take our guilt! When He does that, we have nothing to feel guilty about with past sins, and He heals our scars and changes our countenance:-), and breaks the iron bars and chains that have held us too long.
, Micah 7:9 says God casts our sins into the depths of the sea!   Satan will try to make us feel like we're not forgiven and guilty, but we believe Jesus, not a liar!  The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin.  Satan tries to condemn us.  When you come to Jesus, He condemns sin, not YOU, Romans 8:1..  There is not any sin He cannot forgive!!!!!!! When the devil reminds you of your past, remind Him of his future, in the name of Jesus.

When you give your heart to Jesus Christ, He forgives you of all your past sins, and justifies you (looks at you just as if I'd never sinned). 1John 1:9 says, " If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.   Later on, you might fall for temptation, and come to Jesus again pleading His shed blood for you, and you again realize you are forgiven, and are relieved and happy! Revelation 12:10 says that the accuser of the brethren accuses us day and night.  He tries to give you fear, make you doubt you are forgiven, doubt your experience with God and doubt that God loves you. John 8:44 says that satan is a liar and the father of it.  But, when you read in the Holy Bible, the beautiful promises God has already spoken, and look at the cross, then you smile and cling to your hope in Jesus!  Jesus is keeping the accuser away from you if you have surrendered your heart and life to Him.  John 3:16,17 For God so loved YOU, that he gave his only begotten Son, that if YOU believe in him, YOU should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn YOU; but that YOU through him might be saved.That's good news, in fact, it's the best news this world has ever heard!
  So, if you want true peace and joyful laughter, surrender to Jesus, believe that He means what He says and let Him change your heart.  The best witness for the gospel is a changed life.  Let God's Amazing Grace change your life. Don't be scared any longer, smile with Jesus:-)

Peace In Your Storm

In the Holy Bible, God spoke in Mark 4:35-41, On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, "Let us cross over to the other side." Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!"  And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.  But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful?  How is it that you have no faith?"  And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, "Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"
  We have all faced storms in life, and you may be facing one right now.  Storms of relationship problems, children in rebellion, financial problems, grief, caring for a handicapped child or adult, health problems, job problems, religious persecution, addictions, depression, a loved one behind bars, a friend who turned on you, and the list goes on.  I have faced storms of my own, and the only way I have made it through is Jesus Christ!  Through a miracle, He either changes me or my situation.  If He is allowing the wind to blow in your life right now and the waves are getting high, I can guarantee you that He has NOT abandoned you, but carries you on His shoulders.  He is not only with you in your storm, but He is the only one who can actually do something about it! 
God spoke in Deuteronomy 33:12,  "The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by Him, who shelters him all the day long; and he shall dwell between His shoulders."  He also spoke Hebrews 13:5, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."  No matter how you have been tossed, battered or bruised by circumstances in your life, Jesus loves you and He is with you, and longs to heal you.  Give your heart to Him without delay, and let Him hold you.
  Jesus asked the disciples to get into that boat, knowing exactly what lay ahead.  He also got in with them, as they prepared to cross over to the other side.  Jesus invites you to get into the boat with Him, and cross over to letting Him have your heart and to be Captain of your life.  God's children are preparing to cross over to the heavenly Canaan, as dark evening is settling in over the world. 
Jesus arose up out of sleep, out of that boat just as He arose up out of sleep in that tomb, so He can speak peace to your heart and my heart as we face uncertain times. 
In Isaiah 9:6, Jesus is called the Prince of Peace. God says in Revelation 15:2, "And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, [and] over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God."  When the Redeemed stand on that sea as smooth as glass in heaven, it will be because Jesus, the Prince of Peace is there. No more earthquakes, no more sunami's, no more hurricanes, no more typhoons, no more strife.   He is calling to you today, "Peace be still." 
His disciples thought they were going to die as they tried in vain to bail water out of the sinking boat, and then they remembered Jesus was on board with them!  Jesus was not about to let them perish, and He immediately answered their heart cry!  He hears your heart cry right now, and He wants to do something about it. That secret that you've never told anyone, He knows, and He still loves you.  He calls to you right now.  Do you feel like you're barely keeping your head above water?  Jesus has promised in Isaiah 43: 2, When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.  He will keep your head above water because you're on His shoulders!  His shoulders are broader than the horizon of today.  We all go through hard circumstances as part of life, but God always turns it around for good!!! 

Check out the following videos, one a music video, and the other an inspiring story of going forward in the face of life's storms. As you watch the father & son, realize that Jesus is doing the same thing for you right now.  Jesus loves you that much!!!

Japan earthquake & Sunami

To all my friends in your corner of this world,
  Thanks for taking the time to check out my corner of the world!
  I want to share my condolences with the people of Japan, and they need to know that the world is praying for them, and that Jesus holds them in His arms!  What satan means for evil God will somehow turn around for good.
God spoke in His Word, the Holy Bible, that earthquakes would become more numerous and stronger as we get nearer the second appearing of Jesus.

Luke 21:11,25 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;   Some may say, "There have always been earthquakes & natural disasters."  I read in the Bible that in the last days they will be happening along with many other signs together and simultaneously with the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ going to the whole world!  Jesus said in Matthew 24:14, " And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."  Did you know that solar powered Ipods are being used to reach people with the gospel in remote places?  Did you know that angels are appearing to people and teaching them the great truths of the Holy Bible about Jesus the Messiah?  Revelation 18:1 says, And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.  The whole earth will be lightened with a knowledge of the Lord's glory!!!!!!!  In times when it is the darkest, light shines the brightest. I can't imagine what the people of Japan are going through right now in their dark hour, but I know God is there comforting His children, crying with them, strengthening them, filling them with His peace & lighting their darkness.  Praise God! What are you going through right now? No matter what the trial, God has the answer! Ask Him for Help, and you will get it because He loves you! Please give your heart to Him, and be ready when He comes.
