Mystery Image Of Daniel 2-This Planet's Future Explained!-Daniel & Revelation Explained! Part 4

Let's briefly look at the night that Medo-Persia overthrew Babylon.  Have you ever heard the phrase, the handwriting on the wall?  Daniel 5 is where this phrase comes from!  King Nebuchadnezzar's grandson, Belshazzar, was having a feast.  He took the vessels that had been stolen from the sanctuary in Israel when Babylon took Israel captive.  He then started drinking wine out of them, having a drunken party, with immorality on every side.  All of a sudden, a hand appears and begins writing something no one can read, on the wall.  The horrified people are trying to get someone to interpret the handwriting.  Belshazzar's hips went out of joint, he was shaking so bad.  Somebody thinks to bring in Daniel. Daniel 5:22-25 says, " 22 “You are his successor,[c] O Belshazzar, and you knew all this, yet you have not humbled yourself. 23 For you have proudly defied the Lord of heaven and have had these cups from his Temple brought before you. You and your nobles and your wives and concubines have been drinking wine from them while praising gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone—gods that neither see nor hear nor know anything at all. But you have not honored the God who gives you the breath of life and controls your destiny! 24 So God has sent this hand to write this message."  Wow, God's sent someone to write the message!  Then Daniel tells them what the writing on the wall says in Daniel 5:25-28, "
25 “This is the message that was written: Mene, Mene, Tekel, and Parsin. 26 This is what these words mean:
Mene means ‘numbered’—God has numbered the days of your reign and has brought it to an end.
27 Tekel means ‘weighed’—you have been weighed on the balances and have not measured up.
28 Parsin means ‘divided’—your kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”
Medo-Persia overthrew Babylon shortly after this scene, that very night!  Medo Persia  ruled from 539BC to 331BC, which is quite a long time.  Daniel had to have been dead by this time, and yet this prophecy extends way beyond his lifetime.  What would be the odds that Daniel could prophesy that the second kingdom would fall as well?  Did Medo-Persia fall to another kingdom?  History books tell us that this third kingdom was bronze!
Do you remember studying about the bronze age in school?  What country was the bronze age referring to?  Greece!  Notice what kingdom overthrew Medo-Persia, that happens to be described as belly and thighs of bronze or brass!  Greece!  Greece was not even a power to be winked at when Daniel was given this prophecy!
This is truly divine!  There is no other book that lays out the future of the nations like the Bible!
God says, "call your gods, get your books and let them tell the future, not generally, but specific!  If they are truly gods, they should be able to tell the future.  This is God's claim to being the true God of the Bible.
