Noah's Ark Discovery & Record Flooding In North Dakota

To all of my friends around this planet,
This is part 1 & part 2 together.
Please take time to check out the link, top right, for actual footage of Noah's ark and anchor stones left in the area of Ararat today.  Click on Ark Discovery to get into the site, then click on the left side, on(watch videos).  Then scroll down until you see Noah's Ark discoveries, click to play, and make up your own mind.  Also, the video on the bottom of this blog is amazing:-)  Thanks!
There is historic, record flooding on the Souris River in Minot, North Dakota.
It is has exceeded the record 1881 flood by at least 3 feet!  It reminds me of the Great Flood and Noah's Ark!
Noah was asked by God to build an Ark, he agreed and God gave him the exact dimensions and what material to use.  It was approximately 2 professional football fields in length, and at least 4 stories high!  Someone in the Netherlands has built a life size replica of Noah's Ark! Imagine all of the food they had to carry on the ark for all of those animals!  It had to be enough to last for several months!  Imagine 8 people trying to feed all of them every day!  Imagine the noise and the smell!  Whew!  If God calls us to do something, we must GO FORWARD, no matter how hard it looks, how long it takes or if others don't understand or ridicule.  It may be hard, but it is a joy knowing Jesus is with you and has everything you need!
Noah had to have had great faith!  There had never been rain upon the earth.  A heavy dew watered the ground every morning.  How is your faith?  Do you seek God in the Holy Bible daily and let Him fill you with the dew of heaven, the water of life from the Holy Spirit?  Jesus has all the faith you need.  Ask Him to give you the faith of Jesus, that He is waiting to impart.  Jesus' faith takes over where yours and mine fails!  I need so much more than I possess!  Like the father in Mark 9:24, asking Jesus to heal his child, I cry, "And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief." Thank you Jesus for your promises to give us what we need! Romans 10:17, "So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."  Revelation 14:12, "Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Noah preached for 120 years.  The antediluvians scoffed, laughed and ridiculed Noah day after solemn day.  They got drunk, they had orgies, practicing every form of sexual perversion,  they worshipped themselves, they worshipped gold, houses, clothing and people.  They killed their children as sacrifices.  Violence and murder was part of their daily fare.  God was grieved to see such vile wickedness being relished by His rebellious children, because He loved each one.  In Genesis 6:5,6 it says, "And God saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Slowly and with stealth, the clock was winding down for planet earth.  Probation was fast approaching it's closing moment.  God was pleading with every soul who would listen.  Many had to have been convinced, but turned away as the partying, and lavish wickedness, carrying on as usual, dulled their senses.  After all, there had never been rain, help less a flood!  Crazy old preacher!
The sands of time are about to cease flowing for planet Earth.  Vile wickedness, orgies, drunken parties, flaunted immorality, every form of violence, bold rebellion, love of self, love of money and gods a many are on every side.  Movies, music and media in general, display continual images of evil, capturing minds eager for their carnal wares.  Many churches have adopted the dress, music and entertainment of the world, to try to draw in the world.  It is NOT working.  It is changing the churches, not the world!  God is grieved by what He is seeing.  He loves every person on earth.  Romans 12:2 says, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
God can change all evil thoughts if we will let Him. 2 Corinthians 10:4,5 says, "For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"  Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established." Nothing is impossible for Jesus to do.  If you haven't, please surrender your heart to Him right now, because He loves you.
Suddenly, there appeared animals walking in perfect harmony, clean animals by sevens, and unclean animals by two.  I believe the angels of God were ushering them in.  It's amazing to think that animals were willing to follow the angels into the ark, but most of humanity was not...  If I had been in that audience, I would hope that I would have been startled out of complacency to see that sight, animals of every description walking into the ark without any known guide!  The people had to have wondered what was going on.  As the last animals walked in, Noah was instructed to give his final message of mercy to a lost world.  With all of his energy, all of his emotions, all of his heart, he must have felt the desperate urgency for anyone to listen and heed the warning. No one answered the desperate plea.  Noah and his family went into the ark, and an angel came down and shut the door. This sight didn't even awaken the sin hardened conscious.
They waited in the ark.  Day 1, nothing happened.  Day 2 nothing happened, as well as day 3, 4 and 5.  The people started laughing, and throwing things at the ark.  How ridiculous to think that something that had never happened before, could be possible.  This dreamer actually thought God had called him to build a boat.  They were happy to be employed by Noah for 120 years, but he was crazy.  They weren't helping because they believed in the calling.  They were helping out of self gain.  Many scoffed and walked away.  They had work to do, pleasure to experience.  Day 6 came, and day 7.  They laughed them to scorn until...what was that, a drop of rain, whoa, now bucket loads of rain, torrents of rain!  Now the people were screaming in terror!  Everyone was running to the ark, clawing on the outside, begging for mercy to let them in!  They realized too late that they had despised God's mercy and despised those who tried to warn them, in love.  Too late they realized there is a Creator God in the heavens who controls all things, who loves deeply enough to send warning after warning.  They rushed up to the highest places of the earth in terror seeing the sea of water rising to the highest hills.  They saw their lovely homes, their altars to their idols, their gold and silver, their families swallowed by the angry torrents of water.  Never had the earth experienced such destruction.  Water was shooting from inside the earth miles up into the atmosphere.  Water was coming down like an avalanche of waves!  There was such upheaval that mountains were formed, and canyons were carved.  Waves hundreds of feet high washed over the earth, and yet amid all of the destruction, Noah and his family rode peacefully, trusting in the One true God to safely bring them through.  God kept His promise to them, and He does to you and I also.  Sometimes the way may seem hard, but God has promised to provide.  He will never leave or forsake you, as He promised in Hebrews 13:5
The door in the ark was open for 120 years, and the door in heaven opened into the Most Holy Place in 1844, 167 years ago!  Jesus is making reconciliation for you and I before His Father, and He is pleading with the inhabitants of earth to come into the ark of safety, while there is still time.  Like Noah, Jesus is about to make His final call to planet earth.  One day, mercy will be no more, and the door will be shut.  You are in Jesus' heart, but is He in yours?  Jesus is our Ark of safety. Colossians 2:2 says, "For ye are dead(to self), and your life is hid with Christ in God."  Jesus' righteousness is our safety.  When we stand before God, if we have accepted Jesus as our Saviour and Lord, God will see His Son's beautiful character in place of our filth.  Praise God!
When Jesus comes, the saved will enter the gates into the city, just as Noah and his family entered the ark.   We will be in a safe place, Jerushalom(Jerusalem) city of peace. in the vicinity of Mount Zion.  The ark came to rest in the area of Ararat which means, "curse reversed."
When the Holy City descends out of heaven after the millennium, the saved will be inside, and the lost will be outside.  The Bible says in  Matthew 8:12, "But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Just as the lost outside the ark were lamenting their decision, so it will be for those outside the walls of the New Jerushalom, city of peace.
They waited in the ark, they were tested in the ark, 7 days.  The Bible says in, Revelation 8:1, "And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour."  A half hour in Bible prophecy translates to approximately 15 days, 71/2 days Jesus and all heaven will be coming through the universe to get His children, and we will be tested during that time.  Just as God was with Noah and his family in the ark, as they were tossed with tempest, He is and will be with those who have surrendered their hearts and lives to Him, and we WILL experience the curse reversed!
God has laid our foundation with colorful gems, in the holy city!  Isaiah 54:9,10 says, "For this [is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for [as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee. For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee. O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, [and] not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires."  When Jesus comes,  never more will the curse affect us.  We will have His peace forever!
Do you feel tossed about with life? Is it addiction? Is it finances, a relationship, a health problem, your job,a rebellious child?  Does your life seem out of control?  Is the storm fierce?  Do you feel as though you may sink as the winds of change blow?  There is a Helper in the heavens, Jesus Christ!  He offers to take your pain, your weakness, your depression, your fears, your failures,  your frustrations, your circumstances and melt them into peace in your heart.  He can do this, so just ask Him.  I know because He does it in me.
God says in Genesis 9:11-13, "And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. And God said, This [is] the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that [is] with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth."  So, every time you see the rainbow in the sky, it is a reminder of God's mercy and care for us and our feelings. It is a symbol of His glory, and is around His throne.  He does not want you fearing the moment or the future! He has made provision for you!  Please come to Him while there is still time...  As He says in Psalm 27:5, "For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock."  If you haven't accepted Jesus, please ask Him into your heart and to take over your life right now, then you will be in the safest place in the universe, in His arms!
This very moment, God is calling you, as He is calling out a people in the world and the church, to leave corruption and self righteousness behind.  Revelation 18:4 says, "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."  This is speaking not only to the lost, but it says, "My people."  Jesus is here especially talking to the churches.  He wants Christians to understand also, that God's law must be upheld in it's entirety, all 10, or else we are practicing self righteousness.  More on this in another blog:-)
Which will it be for you, the titanic or the ark?  God's judgements are coming upon the earth, on the despisers of His grace.  This earth is the titanic, but Jesus has a place, an ark of safety,  prepared for you.  Allow Him to heal you and guide you there.  Jesus is calling you
The following video portrays what happened during the flood!  Very interesting!  Enjoy!

Fathers Day!

To all of my friends around this planet,
Father's Day was first observed in 1909 after Mrs. John Bruce Dodd listened to a sermon about mothers, and decided she wanted to honor her father. A senator later told the senate that it should be recognized nationally, so then it became a national celebration in 1924, every third Sunday in June.
I want to especially thank my dad who worked very, very hard to raise 6 kids.  I want to thank him for his moral leadership in always being faithful to mom, even with his eyes, and for teaching me about God Almighty and His Son, the Saviour Jesus Christ, and how Jesus lives in us through the Holy Spirit.  Dad's example seems to be rare these days, and I cherish it.  He worked long hours for many years, and I know he had to be exhausted most of the time, but he still kept going!  He is still a kind, sweet, unselfish man.  I love him very much!
I also want to thank all of the dad's in the military who couldn't be with their kids today, and probably haven't hugged them for a long time.  God bless all of you!
I want to give a special thank you to all of the fathers who love their kids and let them know it.  If you haven't seen your kids in awhile, make a new start today!  If you are an adult that has never known your earthly father, or you do know your father, but he was abusive, you have a Heavenly Father who loves you deeply.  He created you and He adores you... If you doubt that, just look at the cross of calvary.  Jesus died for you, and His Father, your Heavenly Father, let Him do it because He loves you as much as He loves His own Son, Jesus...  Jesus said in John 14:9, "Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?
A father has a way of strength in discipline that makes a kid listen the first time:-)  They are to teach their kids to love God, to be honest and moral, to honor their mother, to uphold God's 10 commandments and to love others the way they want to be loved, just as Jesus counseled.   It is very important for a child to hear from their dad that he approves of them as a person.
A little over 50% of households with children, in the USA, are single parent households.
I was just sitting here blogging when there was a knock on the door, and a young man who used to be in my youth group walked in carrying his little 7 month old baby boy.  He is in the process of getting custody.  He is very protective of and very much loves that baby!  I love it when I see a dad taking responsibility and spending time with his kid/s.  Dad's have a very tender side that their kids need to see:-)
Let God guide you in raising your kids, and you will be so happy you did!  Teach them about Jesus, so you can live with them forever.  The way they learn from you the most is by your actions.
  God bless you, fathers!!!!!!!

Chile Volcano Footage & Arizona Wildfire numbers-Is Hellfire Eternal Torture? All Fired Up About Hell-Part 2

To all of my friends around this planet,
The Arizona wildfire and the Chile volcano have made me think about what the Bible says in 2 Peter 3:12, "Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?" and Revelation 21:1, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."  Then only reason that God will burn up sin and those who choose rebellion will be to eradicate sin forever and secure His universe.  Nahum 1:9,10 says,"What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction(sin) shall not rise up the second time. For while [they be] folden together [as] thorns, and while they are drunken [as] drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.  God must destroy sin forever!
If you haven't read part 1, please try to do so before proceeding:-)
The Videos show some Arizona Wildfire footage, and also updated Chile volcano footage.
Roger Morneau wrote the book, Incredible Answers To Prayer, and became a prayer warrior with 40,000 names on his prayer list when he died.  At 7 years old, Roger overheard people talking about he and his parents' good neighbors, who had just been killed in an auto accident.  He heard the adults say that the couple that had passed away would be suspended in purgatory forever because they were too poor to pay, to get out of purgatory.  What he heard in his 7 year old ears made his heart begin to distrust and hate God.  He eventually got into demon worship.  There was a Christian couple praying for Roger, and through a series of miracles, God led him to someone who led him to Jesus, the very week he was contemplating becoming active in the demon worship group.   God completely delivered Him from darkness, praise God!!!!!!!  The very belief that people are tortured forever made a 7 yr. old kid distrust and even hate God.  Every truth in the Bible should lead us to trust God more, not the opposite.  I do not feel the teaching that people will be tortured forever is the truth.  As I said before, in my humble opinion, this one belief has made many an atheist, many an agnostic, has kept many away from Jesus and has led many to darkness.  Jesus is not going through eternal torture for us, in our place.  He went through and overcame death for us, in our place, so we can live eternally, when He comes.  The result of what He did for you and I is eternal.
There are three words in the New Testament for the word Hell, and they are Tartarus, Gehenna and Hades.   Tartarus occurs only once in the New Testament and is in 2Peter 2:4 which says, "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to hell, and delivered [them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;  Notice it says to be reserved, which means in the future, not a place of punishment right now.  Tartarus means "dark abyss" or "place of restraint."  Next, Gehenna, in Bible times, was a trash dump where they burned trash, filth and dead animals.  Jesus spoke in Matthew 22 of hell fire, and Matthew 13:40-42 tells us when this fire will burn, "As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.  The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  So this fire is at the end of the world.  Hades means "the grave."  1 Corinthians 15:55 says, "O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory?  If you look up the word grave in a Strongs concordance, for that verse, it says, "hades." In the context of the verses that precede this one, it is obviously talking about the resurrection at the last day, or Jesus' second coming, so it is talking about those who will be coming out of their graves.  Acts 2:31 says, "He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell(hades or grave), neither did his flesh see corruption.  This is where Jesus' body rested until He was resurrected.
Some of the above was quoted from Steve Wohlberg, and you can click on his link, White Horse Media, top right, for much more on this topic!  When you get to his website, just click on Death & Hell.   You will see why some verses say forever and ever, and what that really means when looking at the context of the verse, and at the Greek or Hebrew meaning, and also when looking at this subject in the whole Bible, not just a little part of it.  You will be glad you did.
I am going to start taking a look at different Bible stories, in my next few blogs, and how they are relevant for you now:-)

Chile volcano footage-Is Hellfire Eternal Torture? All FIred Up About Hell-Part 1

To all of my friends around this world,
The Puyehue volcano that just erupted in Chile was a spectacular show of lightning fire power!!!  There was deep ash left behind in the towns close enough to be affected.  It is nothing compared to the lake of fire that will destroy those who persist in rebelling against a loving, merciful Creator God.
I don't believe anyone will suffer eternal torture in hell, but that they will be burned up, just as the Bible says in, 2Peter3:10, "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."  Malachi 4:3 says, "And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do [this], saith the LORD of hosts."
God wants to be with everyone, His children, for eternity.  2Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." Isaiah 28:21 says, "For the LORD shall rise up as [in] mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as [in] the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act."  Destroying is a strange act to God.  He is Creator.  He really DOES NOT want anyone to die, but love always gives the freedom of choice.  It grieves God's heart to see His wayward children, much more than it grieves an earthly parent.  Ezekiel 33:11 says, "Say unto them, [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?"
The belief that God will torture people in hellfire for eternity, in my humble opinion, has produced many an atheist and made many angry at or fearful of, Creator God.
When Bin Laden was captured, many were celebrating that a torturing, murdering terrorist was gone. It amazed me as I thought that many, even in the Christian world, want to believe that a loving, Creator God is capable of even worse, by torturing those who choose to rebel against His love. What kind of a sick parent would punish & torture their child for the rest of their life, for rebelling? God's love for you goes deeper than the ocean, and higher than the highest star!
The Bible makes it clear that immortality will be given at the last day, when Jesus comes.  No one is burning in immortal hell right now. 1 Corinthians 15:51-55 says, "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  1Timothy 6:16 says, "Who(Lord of Lords) only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honour and power everlasting.  Amen."  The Bible says in Romans 6:23 that the wages of sin is death."  Death doesn't mean life.  Only Creator God has the ability to give life, and only He has immortality and the power of it.
2Peter 2:6 says, "And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned [them] with an overthrow, making [them] an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;"  Jude 7 says, " Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.  Are they still burning today with eternal fire?  No!  The consequence is eternal, not the fire. The punishment is eternal, not the punishing!  They will face eternal death instead of eternal life.  The cases of the inhabitants of Sodom & Gomorrah are decided for eternity.  Sin must be destroyed once and for all, and if satan, his angels and those who rebelled against God were burning forever, then they would have immortality, and life, and sin would be around for eternity.  Satan, through the serpent told Eve in the garden that if she ate of the fruit she would not die.  He has been spreading that lie far and wide since then.
At some point, those who choose  rebellion against God will wish they had made a different decision, but then it will be too late.  Luke 13:28 says, "There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out."
God is loving, and does not want anyone to perish.  He will remember the lost for eternity.  His love for the lost is much deeper than we can begin to understand, but if you look to the cross of calvary, you will see love displayed in the form of Jesus Christ.  He died for your sin and my sin, and there is no need to die eternally, because Jesus made provision for us, took our guilt upon Himself, and offers us eternal life!  Give Him your heart right now, today, if you haven't done so.  He's thinking about you...
PLEASE take a few minutes and enjoy this great video about God as Creator.  God is about LIFE not destruction!

Part 2 coming soon!
