To my friends around the world,
I'm sure you've heard by now that Osama Bin Laden was shot by Elite anti-terror Navy Seals after he refused to surrender. It was a night raid on the compound he was living in. Many in the USA are shouting USA, USA, USA. Families who lost loved ones on 9/11 met at ground zero with pictures of their loved ones.
How sad that a life is so wasted as to cause destruction instead of valuing life! Osama was in darkness, and if he would have repented to God, he would have been forgiven. What a tragedy to have such evil as terrorist attacks in this world! It grieves the heart of God to see it, and satan is the original terrorist behind all chaos and destruction that happens on this planet.
This story reminds me of story of Queen Esther and Haman. Haman was out to kill all the Jews in the province, because queen Esther's uncle Mordecai, a Jew, wouldn't bow down to him, as he walked by Haman. Haman talked the king into sealing with his ring, a law that would allow Haman to kill all of the Jews in the province, and to take their spoils. Haman was so excited!
Queen Esther and Mordecai called a fast and prayed to the God of heaven for 3 days and nights, and then she approached the King, and asked to have Haman attend a banquet with them.
At the banquet, Queen Esther exposed Haman for who he really was, and the king ordered him to be hung on the gallows that he had ordered workmen to build, just the day before. Haman was hung, and they killed his family also.
The point of all of this is, what Osama wished for America, happened to him. If you choose to follow Creator God rather than satan, then your life will have peace and purpose. If you choose to follow satan, the original terrorist behind all terrorism and darkness, you will be in turmoil and lost. Jesus came to give YOU life!
Just as Osama Bin Laden was killed, satan will be destroyed by fire and will be no more! Revelation 12:12 says, "Therefore rejoice, [ye] heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."
Just as God sent Esther to be queen to intervene for her people, God Almighty sent His Son Jesus to this planet to save us from our enemy, satan, who is the father of lies, John 8:44 "Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."
The greatest victory in the universe was when Jesus Christ the Messiah died on the cross and rose from the tomb to conquer death forever!!!!!!! I would love to hear people all over the world shouting praise, Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, the same as many are chanting, USA, USA, USA!
I thank God for this great country, USA, but I thank Him even more for a better country, a heavenly where there will be no more hate, terror, fear, pain or crying, Hebrews 11:16 "But now they desire a better [country], that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.' AMEN!!!!!!!
One final thought; with so many celebrating the death of someone who terrorized, tortured and killed, it seems so strange to me that many would believe that Creator God Almighty would be loving and yet do the same thing, to those who choose to be lost... God will NOT torture people forever and ever. They will die. More on this in the next week!
