Prophecies About Messiah Fulfilled-Psalm 22-Part 4

My apologies for not getting this to you sooner, but the Christmas season was very busy with family!:-)
This post finishes Psalm 22, and then I will begin the 70 week prophecy that proves Jesus Christ is the Messiah!
Text message from God, Psalm 22:6-8, "But I am a worm and not a man.
I am scorned and despised by all!  Everyone who sees me mocks me.
They sneer and shake their heads, saying,
“Is this the one who relies on the Lord?  Then let the Lord save him!
If the Lord loves him so much, let the Lord rescue him!”
When Jesus said His cross experience would be like a worm, He knew the following info about the scarlet worm, that I found on a Bible study site.  "When the female of the scarlet worm species was ready to give birth to her young, she would attach her body to the trunk of a tree, fixing herself so firmly and permanently that she would never leave again. The eggs deposited beneath her body were thus protected until the larvae were hatched and able to enter their own life cycle. As the mother died, the crimson fluid stained her body and the surrounding wood. From the dead bodies of such female scarlet worms, the commercial scarlet dyes of antiquity were extracted."
FORGIVEN  What a picture of Jesus on the cross!  Jesus' blood stained the cross.  It is our protection and guarantees eternal life if we accept Him as our forgiving Saviour!
Jesus' blood is our protection, just as the blood of a slain lamb was a symbol of protection for the ancient Israelites who put blood on the door posts of their homes in Egypt, so that the death angel, sent to carry out the plague of slaying the first born, did not touch anyone who was in a house with the lamb's blood on the door posts!  Text message from God, 1 John 1:7, "But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin."  Jesus shed His blood so we can be forgiven and cleansed from sin, and have changed hearts and lives!
So, when Jesus likened Himself to this worm, He was prophesying that His blood would be spilled to give eternal life to all who would accept!
Text message from God, Psalm 22:9-10, "Yet you brought me safely from my mother’s womb
and led me to trust you at my mother’s breast.  I was thrust into your arms at my birth.
You have been my God from the moment I was born."  He's here describing how His Father would be with Him in birth and childhood.  He trusted His Father implicitly, as many verses I haven't gone over in Psalm 22, describe.  Eternal Creator God Himself, was formed in a womb He created, and then as a baby relied on His Father to trust Him to the care of human parents that He created!  Wow!  Think about that for awhile...
Text message from God,  Psalm 22:11-13, "Do not stay so far from me,
for trouble is near,
and no one else can help me.
 My enemies surround me like a herd of bulls;
fierce bulls of Bashan have hemmed me in!
Like lions they open their jaws against me,
roaring and tearing into their prey.
Bashan was a city of fierce giants that God conquered for ancient Israel while taking the promised land.  Their city had walls of giant black stones, and they were feared by surrounding nations.
Jesus felt like He was up against raging giants, but in mentioning Bashan, He was acknowledging that God would help Him to conquer the black hole of the enemy, satan, and the ugly murderous designs of His enemies!
Text message from God, Psalm 22:14-24, "My life is poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint.
My heart is like wax,
melting within me.
My strength has dried up like sun baked clay.
My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth.
You have laid me in the dust and left me for dead.
  My enemies surround me like a pack of dogs;
an evil gang closes in on me.
They have pierced my hands and feet.
I can count all my bones.
My enemies stare at me and gloat.
They divide my garments among themselves
and throw dice for my clothing.
O Lord, do not stay far away!
You are my strength; come quickly to my aid!
  Save me from the sword;
spare my precious life from these dogs.
Snatch me from the lion’s jaws
and from the horns of these wild oxen.
I will proclaim your name to my brothers and sisters.[b]
I will praise you among your assembled people.
Praise the Lord, all you who fear him!
Honor him, all you descendants of Jacob!
Show him reverence, all you descendants of Israel!
For he has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy.
He has not turned his back on them,
but has listened to their cries for help."

His description of his joints and counting all of His bones is a picture of His physical suffering on the cross!  He could feel tendons tearing, bones pulling, and had to push up on His feet to be able to take a breath.  It was agony either way...  Jesus Christ suffered mentally, emotionally and physically on the cross.  He died of a broken heart.  The separation from His Father caused much more suffering to Him than the physical pain.  What kept Him hanging there?  It was a picture of your face, your life, my face, my life.  He willingly died for you and I because He loves us more than life!   Give Him your heart.

Prophecies About Messiah Fulfilled-Psalm 22-Part 3

Text message from God, Psalm 22:1-2, "My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?
Why are you so far away when I groan for help?
Every day I call to you, my God, but you do not answer.
Every night you hear my voice, but I find no relief."
Jesus wrote Psalm 22 through David, and prophesied His birth and cross experience!
The very first words prophesied were of Him feeling the agony of separation from His Father,   WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?!!!  Have you ever cried out, WHY GOD?  Why is this happening in my life right now?  I don't feel You, God!   He is still there, even if you don't feel Him.  Faith takes hold of His promise, that He will never forsake you!  Matthew 27:46, "At about three o’clock, Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”  He felt utterly and completely abandoned, but He still hung there by faith, not by feeling, knowing that His Father would keep His promise!
Sin always separates us from God.  Jesus came to experience that separation for us, so we don't have to.  He came to redeem us so we can be reconciled to His Father!
Hebrews 13:5, God's text message says, "Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you.  I will never abandon you."  Because Jesus died for your sins, my sins, when we ask forgiveness, we are forgiven, and not forsaken!  Jesus took our sins, the sins of the whole human race upon Himself, on the cross, and the Father had to turn His face away, because sin separates us from God!  That's why Jesus' gut wrenching cry rang through the darkness of the cross, "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?!"  He had never felt that before, and as He hung there in His humanity, He was totally relying on His Father's promise that He would make it through, that He would wake up again and walk out of the tomb, that He would see His Father again, and that His sacrifice would be enough.  He sure didn't feel that way, but trusted His Father's promise.    Jesus stayed on the cross, even though He felt forsaken, and satan was screaming in His ear, "Your never going to wake up!  You're never going to see Your Father again, come down from that cross!"  Jesus stayed there for YOU.  He stayed there for me.  He was willing to save the likes of you and I.  He was willing to lose everything if it meant that you and I would be saved!  When you begin to wrap your mind and heart around Who this really is and what He has really done, it is mind boggling!  He is Eternal Creator God, and yet was willing to die, and be separated from His Father, so you and I could live eternally with His Father, wow!  Talk about humble,  unconditional love.
Have you ever felt forsaken?  Has anyone ever lied to you, cheated on you, abused you?  Has anyone ever left you?  You have a Saviour in the heavens that is making intercession for you at this very moment.  He wants your heart.  He wants to be with you, forever.  He doesn't want you to forsake or abandon Him...

Prophecies About Messiah Fulfilled!-Part 2

In this post, I'm showing you some old testament prophecies and their fulfillment in the new testament. There are many more than I will share!  The next post will explain Psalm 22.  In the next couple of days, I will start into the 70 week prophecy, and outline how the Bible proves Jesus is Messish!  Thanks for Checking it out!
I put the old testament prophecy, and directly after it the scripture showing it's fulfillment in the new testament:-)  There is a P for prophecy, and F for fulfillment in front of each scripture:-)  I have put a title for each set of scriptures.  I hope this draws you closer to your Messiah.
  Born In Bethlehem:
P-Micah 5:2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
From everlasting.”
There are 2 different Bethlehem's, and God specified which one.
F- Luke 2:4,5 & 7, "Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife,[a] who was with child.  And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn."
Born Of A Virgin
P-Isaiah 7:14, "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel."
F-Luke 1:26-27 & 30-31, "Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.  Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS."
Slaughter Of The Innocents
P-Jeremiah 31:15, "A voice was heard in Ramah,
Lamentation and bitter weeping,
Rachel weeping for her children,
Refusing to be comforted for her children,
Because they are no more.”
F- Matthew 2:16-18, "Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men. 17 Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying:
18 “ A voice was heard in Ramah,
Lamentation, weeping, and great mourning,
Rachel weeping for her children,
Refusing to be comforted,
Because they are no more.”
This, to me, is a picture of God's grief over His rebellious children who will be lost forever when they are destroyed.
Flight To Egypt
P-Hosea 11:1, "When Israel was a child, I loved him,
And out of Egypt I called My son.
F-Matthew 2:14-15, "When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt,  and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”[
Declared The Son Of God
P-Psalm 2:7, "I will declare the decree:
The LORD has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You."

To Heal The Brokenhearted"
F-Matthew 3:17, And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
To Heal The Brokenhearted
P-Isaiah 61:1-2, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
Because the LORD has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn."
F-Luke 4:17-19And He(Jesus Christ) was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:
18 “ The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,[a]
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”[
Rejected By His Own People, The Jews
P-Isaiah 53:3, "He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him."
F-John 1:11, "He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him"
Luke 23:18, " And they all cried out at once, saying, “Away with this Man, and release to us Barabbas.”
Betrayed By A Friend
P-Psalm 41:9, "Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted,
Who ate my bread,
Has lifted up his heel against me."
F- Luke 22:47-48, "And while He was still speaking, behold, a multitude; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss Him. 48 But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”
Sold For 30 Pieces Of Silver
P-Zechariah 11:12, "Then I said to them, “If it is agreeable to you, give me my wages; and if not, refrain.” So they weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver."

Spat Upon And Smitten
P-Isaiah 50:6, "I gave My back to those who struck Me,
And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard;
I did not hide My face from shame and spitting."
F-Matthew 26:67, "Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck Him with the palms of their hands."
Pierced Through Hands & Feet
P-Zechariah 12:19, "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn."
F-John 20:27, "Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”
Scorned & Mocked
P-Psalm 22:7-8, " All those who see Me ridicule Me;

Soldiers Gambles For His Coat
P-Psalm 22:17-18, "I can count all My bones.
They look and stare at Me.
They divide My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots."
F-Matthew 27:35-36, "Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet:
They divided My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots.
Sitting down, they kept watch over Him there."
No Bones Broken
P-Psalm 34:20, "He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken."
F-John 19:32-33, 36,  "Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him.  But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.  For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, “Not one of His bones shall be broken."

Prophecies About The Messiah-Wisemen From The East-Part 1

To all of my friends around this planet,
Since this is the week before Christmas, I will shift prophetic gears for a few days, and discuss some of the prophecies about the Messiah, Jesus Christ, and one of the longest time prophecies in the Bible that proves Jesus is the Messiah!  It is called the 2300 year prophecy, and the first part of it is the 70 week prophecy.  The wise men from the East understood this very prophecy, because Daniel had written it down while living in Babylon!  Daniel's writings were studied in the Middle East, that's how the wise wise men knew Messiah was about to appear!  This is exciting, friends!
We will first go over some of the Old Testament scriptures that prophesy about the coming Messiah, and then parallel in the New Testament how they were fulfilled!  Then we will dive into the 70 week prophecy!  This should be life changing if you've never heard it!

Mystery Image Of Daniel 2-This Planet's Future Explained!-Daniel & Revelation Explained! Part 5

Remember the principle, nothing new, only more detail?  In Daniel chapter 8, Daniel has another vision, and in this vision he sees a ram and an he goat.  The ram is going across the face of the earth and it is conquered.  Then the he goat comes up against the ram and runs into it and overpowers it.  Daniel 8:20,21 says,  "The ram which you saw, having the two horns—they are the kings of Media and Persia.  And the male goat is the kingdom of Greece.  The large horn that is between its eyes is the first king."  All this is happening while Greece isn't even on the scene yet!  Alexander the Great ruled Greece and Greece was well known for it's shields of bronze!
Back to Daniel 2!  Daniel 2:33 says, "its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay."  There was a fourth kingdom with legs of iron.  What kingdom overthrew the Grecian Empire?  Rome.  Greece ruled from 331-168 BC.  So then, we have the legs of iron which represent the Roman Empire.  From thousands of years ago, the God in the Bible srote this out, and the history books still bear this to be true!
Daniel 2:40 says, "And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise."  The iron kingdom was going to bruise.  The Roman Empire is the empire into which little baby Jesus was born.  Rome ruled from 168BC-476AD.  Rome was ruling when Herod sent out the orders to kill all the babies under 2 years old, because he had heard that the Messiah was born.  You will also realize that it was the Roman Empire that bruised Jesus Christ, our Saviour.  Isaiah 53:5 says, "But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;  The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed."  The Bible was prophesying the very kingdom that was to bruise the Messiah!  God's word IS REAL!!!!!!!
There isn't any other God who can tell the future like this, and this is just one prophecy!  There is so much more in the word of God!
Daniel 2:41 says, "Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay."  Daniel prophesies a divided kingdom!  This is amazing!  Daniel could have messed up ad said, "After the fourth kingdom, another kingdom shall arise."  He said, "After the fourth kingdom, it's going to break down into pieces."  Are you familiar with the history of Rome?  Who overthrew Rome?  Rome broke down into pieces. There was no nation that overthrew the Roman Empire,  It simply disintegrated into pieces.  The ten toes of the image became the 10 divisions of Europe.  Three were uprooted, and that is predicted in Bible prophecy!
Do you think God knows the future?  Do you see God can be trusted?  If He tells the future, won't you believe that He will prepare you for the future?  Yes, He will!  Bible prophecy gives hope!  \
The European nations came out of the Roman Empire, 476AD-the present time.
Daniel 3:43 says, "As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay."  God is saying these kingdoms would try to unite in some way, and God said it would not happen!  If you look at Europe, do you know how many conquerors have tried to unite Europe and have failed?  Napoleon, Hitler, Charlemagne and all of the different rulers that tried to unite Europe, failed.  God said it would not be united, and it hasn't been unto this very day.  The Bible is an amazing  book, and this is an amazing prophecy!  What happened next in Daniel's vision?  Daniel 2:44,45 says, "And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 45 Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”  Jesus Christ Himself, is coming again to strike the empires and His kingdom will rule the universe forever!
Do you want to be ready for Jesus' second coming?  If everything has come to pass that the Bible says, what are the odds that the stone cut out without hands would not strike the image?  What are the odds that Jesus Christ will not come back?  This is not made up, but real!!!

Mystery Image Of Daniel 2-This Planet's Future Explained!-Daniel & Revelation Explained! Part 4

Let's briefly look at the night that Medo-Persia overthrew Babylon.  Have you ever heard the phrase, the handwriting on the wall?  Daniel 5 is where this phrase comes from!  King Nebuchadnezzar's grandson, Belshazzar, was having a feast.  He took the vessels that had been stolen from the sanctuary in Israel when Babylon took Israel captive.  He then started drinking wine out of them, having a drunken party, with immorality on every side.  All of a sudden, a hand appears and begins writing something no one can read, on the wall.  The horrified people are trying to get someone to interpret the handwriting.  Belshazzar's hips went out of joint, he was shaking so bad.  Somebody thinks to bring in Daniel. Daniel 5:22-25 says, " 22 “You are his successor,[c] O Belshazzar, and you knew all this, yet you have not humbled yourself. 23 For you have proudly defied the Lord of heaven and have had these cups from his Temple brought before you. You and your nobles and your wives and concubines have been drinking wine from them while praising gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone—gods that neither see nor hear nor know anything at all. But you have not honored the God who gives you the breath of life and controls your destiny! 24 So God has sent this hand to write this message."  Wow, God's sent someone to write the message!  Then Daniel tells them what the writing on the wall says in Daniel 5:25-28, "
25 “This is the message that was written: Mene, Mene, Tekel, and Parsin. 26 This is what these words mean:
Mene means ‘numbered’—God has numbered the days of your reign and has brought it to an end.
27 Tekel means ‘weighed’—you have been weighed on the balances and have not measured up.
28 Parsin means ‘divided’—your kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”
Medo-Persia overthrew Babylon shortly after this scene, that very night!  Medo Persia  ruled from 539BC to 331BC, which is quite a long time.  Daniel had to have been dead by this time, and yet this prophecy extends way beyond his lifetime.  What would be the odds that Daniel could prophesy that the second kingdom would fall as well?  Did Medo-Persia fall to another kingdom?  History books tell us that this third kingdom was bronze!
Do you remember studying about the bronze age in school?  What country was the bronze age referring to?  Greece!  Notice what kingdom overthrew Medo-Persia, that happens to be described as belly and thighs of bronze or brass!  Greece!  Greece was not even a power to be winked at when Daniel was given this prophecy!
This is truly divine!  There is no other book that lays out the future of the nations like the Bible!
God says, "call your gods, get your books and let them tell the future, not generally, but specific!  If they are truly gods, they should be able to tell the future.  This is God's claim to being the true God of the Bible.

Mystery Image In Daniel 2-Our Planet's Future Explained! Daniel & Revelation-Part 3

So much for a short post! LOL
This info was shared by Ivor Myers, and I am sharing it with you:-)
A principle to remember when studying the book of Daniel is: Nothing new, only more detail.
The entire book of Daniel works on this principle. The first prophecy in the book of Daniel is in chapter 2. After that, in the book of Daniel, the same principle is nothing new, only more detail.
If you understand Daniel chapter 2, you have the key to understand every other chapter of Daniel! It's like taking a photo, and then zooming in on your next shot, zooming in on the shot after that, and so on. The book of Revelation is the same way. If you have a broad understanding of the first chapter, every chapter after that is only more detail.
Daniel 2 answers for us the question, what does the future hold for planet earth? In Daniel 2 God is showing that the psychics, astrologers and magicians are counterfeits of God's prophets. God is showing the difference between what is false and what is true.
Daniel had learned that king Nebuchadnezzar had ordered all of the wise men, including he and his three friends, to be executed quickly! When Daniel found out, he said, "give me one night and I'll inquire of God and give you the answer tomorrow.
Isaiah 41:22,23 says, "Let them bring forth and show us what will happen;
Let them show the former things, what they were,
That we may consider them,
And know the latter end of them;
Or declare to us things to come.
23 Show the things that are to come hereafter,
That we may know that you are gods;
Yes, do good or do evil,
That we may be dismayed and see it together."
God's challenge to all the other gods is, "Call your gods and if your gods are real, let them accurately tell the future. If they can't they're not really gods. God is NOT accepting of any other gods. There is no other true God!!!
God days, "If your psychics are real, let them tell what's coming in the future." A psychic might say, "the world's going to end or there will be doom." Those are very broad statements. Anyone can guess that. With the Daniel 2 prophecy we are studying, you will know for sure it's not guessing, but certain!
Daniel 2:29 says, "As for you, O king, thoughts came to your mind while on your bed, about what would come to pass after this; and He who reveals secrets has made known to you what will be." God revealed to Nebuchadnezzar, through Daniel, what Nebuchadnezzar had been thinking that night before he went to sleep. In fact, God had put that question about the future in the king's mind.
Daniel 2:30-35 says, "But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but for our sakes who make known the interpretation to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your heart."
“You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome. This image’s head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs[a] of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth." Nebuchadnezzar had to have been spell bound as he heard Daniel tell him exactly what he had dreamed! He had to have said, "That's it! That's what I saw!"
Daniel 2:36-38 says, "This is the dream. Now we will tell the interpretation of it before the king. You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory; and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all—you are this head of gold." Now God interprets the dream through Daniel. Daniel tells Nebuchadnezzar his kingdom, Babylon, was the head of gold. Babylon was the superpower of that time, and was well known for it's gold!
Daniel 2:39 says, "But after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then another, a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth." Daniel could have been beheaded for telling the king that his kingdom, ancient Babylon, would not reign forever! You don't tell a king that another smaller kingdom is going to rise up on the scene and take your kingdom! It would be like saying Iraq was going to overthrow the United States of America! No way! Not in a million years!
So, Daniel was saying there would be four kingdoms that would rule the earth. Daniel 2:41 says, "Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay."
Daniel said the fourth kingdom would divide into 10 kingdoms.
Babylon ruled from 605-539 BC. Babylon was overthrown by a smaller kingdom in 539BC. Early in Nebuchadnezzar's reign, Daniel prophesied this. What are the odds that a superpower would fall to a small kingdom? Pretty slim, right? This prophecy would have to be something supernatural! Some may say, well, Daniel lived during that time, he could have written the book after it happened. Let's go on...
Medo-Persia, the chest and arms of silver in the image, was the kingdom that overthrew Babylon and at that time, Medo-Persia wasn't even a power to make Nebuchadnezzar wink! Silver is inferior to gold. Each succeeding kingdom was a metal inferior to the kingdom that it overthrew.
Do you remember these world kingdoms from your history books in school? It's in them! God told the future kingdoms way in advance!

Mysterious Image Of Daniel 2-Daniel & Revelation Explained-Part 2

If you were able to read Daniel 2, it will help as you read this segment.  You'll say, "Oh yeah!  I remember reading that!"  Today, we are starting to open up understanding of the book of Daniel and the trustworthiness of the whole Bible, the word of Almighty, Creator God!
King Nebuchadnezzar had this wild dream about a mysterious image!  If you've ever had a strange dream, you know how he felt!  The problem was, he couldn't remember it!  It was driving him nuts! He couldn't sleep!  He HAD to know what that dream was and it's significance!  So, He called in his "wise men," the magicians, astrologers, sorcerers, and psychics, and asked them to tell him what the dream was!  They did not know the dream!  He realized when they couldn't tell him the dream, that they had been making things up prior to this.  The "wise men" let him  know that what he was asking for was impossible for anyone to know.  They told him to tell them the dream, and then they would tell the meaning.  His temper was raging!  He knew they were stalling for time, because they knew they would possibly be executed!  The poor guys must have been shaking, scared spit less!  Their fraud had been exposed!
By the way, the Bible warns against going to astrologers, sorcerers, psychics, or those who
Daniel 1 14supposedly talk with the dead.   These are dangerous things to do.  It is satan's ground.  If you have already gone to one, please have someone pray over you and your household for deliverance, and God will deliver!  This story proves that the "wise men" were useless to explain the past or the future!  They obviously would have considered calling in sick that day, if they would have known what was going to happen!  Only Creator God can 100% tell the future in advance!
Next, the king called Arioch, captain of the Royal Guard, and told him to gather all the "wise men," including Daniel and his 3 friends, and execute all of them!  Daniel talked with Arioch, and wondered why the king had given this terrible command!  When he found out, he told Arioch to ask the king for more time, and he would tell him the dream and it's interpretation!  The king liked Daniel and gave him a little more time.  What do you think was the first thing Daniel did?  He got on his cell phone
(kidding), as he headed home and asked his friends to pray!  They all prayed together asking for God's mercy and for an understanding of what the dream was, and what it meant!  Daniel had full faith God would give the info they needed, to avoid death for not only them, but all of the "wise men" of Babylon!  Daniel also wanted the God of heaven to be honored!  God gave Daniel the dream and it's interpretation!  Praise God!
In the next post, I will explain the image in Daniel 2 and how it shows almost 2500 years in advance.  You will be excited to see this prophecy unfold!  God is the God of gods, as He can tell the future with pinpoint accuracy!  He knows your future, and He is able to help you through it!

Mysterious Image Of Daniel 2-Daniel & Revelation Explained-Part 1

To all of my friend around this planet,
I am asking you to read Daniel 2 before we go further.  It is important for you to become familiar with it.  For those of you who do not have access to the Holy Bible in your country, or for others' convenience, I have put Daniel 2 on here. It may seem long, but read what you can.  The rest of the posts will be much smaller segments:-)   In the next post, we will begin discussing Daniel 2.
Daniel 2
King Nebuchadnezzar's Dream
1-3 In the second year of his reign, King Nebuchadnezzar started having dreams that disturbed him deeply. He couldn't sleep. He called in all the Babylonian magicians, enchanters, sorcerers, and fortunetellers to interpret his dreams for him. When they came and lined up before the king, he said to them, "I had a dream that I can't get out of my mind. I can't sleep until I know what it means."
4 The fortunetellers, speaking in the Aramaic language, said, "Long live the king! Tell us the dream and we will interpret it."
5-6 The king answered the fortunetellers, "This is my decree: If you can't tell me both the dream itself and its interpretation, I'll have you ripped to pieces, limb from limb, and your homes torn down. But if you tell me both the dream and its interpretation, I'll lavish you with gifts and honors. So go to it: Tell me the dream and its interpretation."
7 They answered, "If it please your majesty, tell us the dream. We'll give the interpretation."
8-9 But the king said, "I know what you're up to—you're just playing for time. You know you're up a tree. You know that if you can't tell me my dream, you're doomed. I see right through you—you're going to cook up some fancy stories and confuse the issue until I change my mind. Nothing doing! First tell me the dream, then I'll know that you're on the up and up with the interpretation and not just blowing smoke in my eyes."
10-11 The fortunetellers said, "Nobody anywhere can do what you ask. And no king, great or small, has ever demanded anything like this from any magician, enchanter, or fortuneteller. What you're asking is impossible unless some god or goddess should reveal it—and they don't hang around with people like us."
12-13 That set the king off. He lost his temper and ordered the whole company of Babylonian wise men killed. When the death warrant was issued, Daniel and his companions were included. They also were marked for execution.
14-15 When Arioch, chief of the royal guards, was making arrangements for the execution, Daniel wisely took him aside and quietly asked what was going on: "Why this all of a sudden?"
15-16 After Arioch filled in the background, Daniel went to the king and asked for a little time so that he could interpret the dream.
17-18 Daniel then went home and told his companions Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah what was going on. He asked them to pray to the God of heaven for mercy in solving this mystery so that the four of them wouldn't be killed along with the whole company of Babylonian wise men.
Dream Interpretation: A Story of Five Kingdoms
19-23 That night the answer to the mystery was given to Daniel in a vision. Daniel blessed the God of heaven, saying,
"Blessed be the name of God,
forever and ever.
He knows all, does all:
He changes the seasons and guides history,
He raises up kings and also brings them down,
he provides both intelligence and discernment,
He opens up the depths, tells secrets,
sees in the dark—light spills out of him!
God of all my ancestors, all thanks! all praise!
You made me wise and strong.
And now you've shown us what we asked for.
You've solved the king's mystery."
24 So Daniel went back to Arioch, who had been put in charge of the execution. He said, "Call off the execution! Take me to the king and I'll interpret his dream."
25 Arioch didn't lose a minute. He ran to the king, bringing Daniel with him, and said, "I've found a man from the exiles of Judah who can interpret the king's dream!"
26 The king asked Daniel (renamed in Babylonian, Belteshazzar), "Are you sure you can do this—tell me the dream I had and interpret it for me?"
27-28 Daniel answered the king, "No mere human can solve the king's mystery, I don't care who it is—no wise man, enchanter, magician, diviner. But there is a God in heaven who solves mysteries, and he has solved this one. He is letting King Nebuchadnezzar in on what is going to happen in the days ahead. This is the dream you had when you were lying on your bed, the vision that filled your mind:
29-30 "While you were stretched out on your bed, O king, thoughts came to you regarding what is coming in the days ahead. The Revealer of Mysteries showed you what will happen. But the interpretation is given through me, not because I'm any smarter than anyone else in the country, but so that you will know what it means, so that you will understand what you dreamed.
31-36 "What you saw, O king, was a huge statue standing before you, striking in appearance. And terrifying. The head of the statue was pure gold, the chest and arms were silver, the belly and hips were bronze, the legs were iron, and the feet were an iron-ceramic mixture. While you were looking at this statue, a stone cut out of a mountain by an invisible hand hit the statue, smashing its iron-ceramic feet. Then the whole thing fell to pieces—iron, tile, bronze, silver, and gold, smashed to bits. It was like scraps of old newspapers in a vacant lot in a hot dry summer, blown every which way by the wind, scattered to oblivion. But the stone that hit the statue became a huge mountain, dominating the horizon. This was your dream.
36-40 "And now we'll interpret it for the king. You, O king, are the most powerful king on earth. The God of heaven has given you the works: rule, power, strength, and glory. He has put you in charge of men and women, wild animals and birds, all over the world—you're the head ruler, you are the head of gold. But your rule will be taken over by another kingdom, inferior to yours, and that one by a third, a bronze kingdom, but still ruling the whole land, and after that by a fourth kingdom, ironlike in strength. Just as iron smashes things to bits, breaking and pulverizing, it will bust up the previous kingdoms.
41-43 "But then the feet and toes that ended up as a mixture of ceramic and iron will deteriorate into a mongrel kingdom with some remains of iron in it. Just as the toes of the feet were part ceramic and part iron, it will end up a mixed bag of the breakable and unbreakable. That kingdom won't bond, won't hold together any more than iron and clay hold together.
44-45 "But throughout the history of these kingdoms, the God of heaven will be building a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will this kingdom ever fall under the domination of another. In the end it will crush the other kingdoms and finish them off and come through it all standing strong and eternal. It will be like the stone cut from the mountain by the invisible hand that crushed the iron, the bronze, the ceramic, the silver, and the gold.
"The great God has let the king know what will happen in the years to come. This is an accurate telling of the dream, and the interpretation is also accurate."
46-47 When Daniel finished, King Nebuchadnezzar fell on his face in awe before Daniel. He ordered the offering of sacrifices and burning of incense in Daniel's honor. He said to Daniel, "Your God is beyond question the God of all gods, the Master of all kings. And he solves all mysteries, I know, because you've solved this mystery."
48-49 Then the king promoted Daniel to a high position in the kingdom, lavished him with gifts, and made him governor over the entire province of Babylon and the chief in charge of all the Babylonian wise men. At Daniel's request the king appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to administrative posts throughout Babylon, while Daniel governed from the royal headquarters.

Daniel & Revelation-Prophecy Explained-Part 4

Daniel 1 talks about Daniel and his 3 friends trying to get settled into life in Babylon.  Imagine being ripped from your home, and made to go live in another country.  The king renamed them with Babylonian gods names, and tried to educate them in the way of his heathen culture.
The king had set unhealthy food and wine before Daniel and his friends, and they did not want it.  They believed in honoring God in their lifestyle, and made a choice to do so, and God blessed them!  They asked the guy in charge of their food to give them 10 days of eating and living healthy, and they they would make a decision.  They were found 10 times wiser than the other guys practicing an unhealthy lifestyle.  Daniel 1:15-20 says,
15 "At the end of the ten days, Daniel and his three friends looked healthier and better nourished than the young men who had been eating the food assigned by the king. 16 So after that, the attendant fed them only vegetables instead of the food and wine provided for the others.
17 God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom. And God gave Daniel the special ability to interpret the meanings of visions and dreams.
18 When the training period ordered by the king was completed, the chief of staff brought all the young men to King Nebuchadnezzar. 19 The king talked with them, and no one impressed him as much as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So they entered the royal service. 20 Whenever the king consulted them in any matter requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, he found them ten times more capable than any of the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom."
If you're struggling with addiction to food, alcohol, drugs, tobacco, porn, or whatever your struggle is, just tell God you can't do it on your own, and ask Him for help. That's all He's waiting to hear...You will experience deliverance in Jesus!   You hear God calling you out of addiction, and He is preparing you for victory!  HE IS THE GOD WHO HEALS!
In the next post, I will be discussing the image king Nebuchadnezzar saw in his dream, and show how God predicted almost 2500 years in advance, with pinpoint accuracy.

Daniel & Revelation-Prophecy Explained-Part 3

The book of Daniel is a very interesting book, and the stories have a lot of parallels with those of us living at this time.  The first 6 books are mostly stories with some prophecies, and the last 6 books are mostly prophecies.
Daniel 1 01  Israel was taken captive after repeated warnings from God through prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel.  God had lovingly asked them to let go of idol worship, and many ignored His plea.  God prophesied through the prophet Jeremiah that they would be taken into captivity for 70 years, if they would not repent, and turn back to Creator God Almighty.  Israel was supposed to take a knowledge of the One True God to the whole earth, and this wasn't happening.  Jeremiah 25:11,12 says, "This entire land will become a desolate wasteland. Israel and her neighboring lands will serve the king of Babylon for seventy years.  Then, after the seventy years of captivity are over, I will punish the king of Babylon and his people for their sins,” says the Lord. “I will make the country of the Babylonians a wasteland forever. Jeremiah 29:10 says, "This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again."
Babylon was the superpower of that time, and was where Iraq now is.  In Southern Iraq, Saddam Hussein was planning on rebuilding the city of Babylon, and had bricks with king Nebuchadnezzar's name inscribed on them.  He thought of himself as Nebuchadnezzar.  He was never able to rebuild Babylon because God said it would never again be inhabited, and it hasn't.
Israel was taken captive by the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar, just as God had predicted!  Daniel and his 3 friends that are mentioned in the book of Daniel, were teenagers at the time.  They were more than likely taken from their parents, to be taught the ways of Babylon.  They would have been very intelligent and good looking as the king requested in Daniel 1:3,4 "Then the king ordered Ashpenaz, his chief of staff, to bring to the palace some of the young men of Judah’s royal family and other noble families, who had been brought to Babylon as captives.  Select only strong, healthy, and good-looking young men, he said. “Make sure they are well versed in every branch of learning, are gifted with knowledge and good judgment, and are suited to serve in the royal palace. Train these young men in the language and literature of Babylon." So as Daniel and his friends were forced
Daniel 1 08to walk across the hot dry desert, they had plenty of time to think and to pray.  They had been taught to trust in Creator God, and they realized that God would bring good out of this situation.  I'm sure they went through some very lonely times, but God always let them know He was with them.  They chose to obey God rather than man.
Daniel's writings left in Babylon and that part of the world, are what the wise men studied hundreds of years later, and that's how they knew about what time Messiah was to appear, from Daniel's God inspired prophecies!
In the next post, I will briefly discuss Daniel 1, and then follow with Daniel 2 and it's time prophecy that outlines almost 2500 years of history, and what kingdoms would fall and rise, with pinpoint accuracy.  You will see how history has proven these Bible prophecies to be spot on!
You will start to see the heavenly GPS(God's Prophetic System) guide you to a solid faith in God's Holy Bible!

Creator God's Challenge To All Other God's! Daniel & Revelation-Prophecy Explained-Part 2

I will be posting small posts like this frequently, so subscribe, so you don't miss any of this info!
In the next post, we will discuss Daniel 2, the prophecy where God tells almost 2500 years in advance, and you will see how history proves this prophecy to be true with pinpoint accuracy!  I want to show you why I am a Christian and believe in the One and only Creator God!  I don't want you to read the Bible because someone tells you it's a good book.  There are other religions that claim they have good books.  I want you to see that Creator God tells the future in advance in the Holy Bible, and then it happens!
In this post, if you can, read Isaiah 41-45 in the Holy Bible.  I have provided small clips of these passages to show what God's challenge is!  God says, "Show me any other gods who can tell the future in advance!"   Isaiah 41:20-24 says, " 20 I am doing this so all who see this miracle
will understand what it means—
that it is the Lord who has done this,
the Holy One of Israel who created it.
21 “Present the case for your idols,”
says the Lord.
“Let them show what they can do,”
says the King of Israel.[a]
22 “Let them try to tell us what happened long ago
so that we may consider the evidence.
Or let them tell us what the future holds,
so we can know what’s going to happen.
23 Yes, tell us what will occur in the days ahead.
Then we will know you are gods.
In fact, do anything—good or bad!
Do something that will amaze and frighten us.
24 But no! You are less than nothing and can do nothing at all.
Those who choose you pollute themselves."
Isaiah 42:8,9 says, " 20 I am doing this so all who see this miracle
will understand what it means—
that it is the Lord who has done this,
the Holy One of Israel who created it.
Isaiah 44:6-8 says, "6 This is what the Lord says—Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies:
“I am the First and the Last;
there is no other God.
7 Who is like me?
Let him step forward and prove to you his power.
Let him do as I have done since ancient times
when I established a people and explained its future.
8 Do not tremble; do not be afraid.
Did I not proclaim my purposes for you long ago?
You are my witnesses—is there any other God?
No! There is no other Rock—not one!”
Isaiah 45:22 says, " 22 Let all the world look to me for salvation!
For I am God; there is no other."

Daniel & Revelation, Prophecy Explained-Part 1

Revelation 1:1,2 says, "A revealing of Jesus, the Messiah. God gave it to make plain to his servants what is about to happen. He published and delivered it by Angel to his servant John. And John told everything he saw: God's Word— the witness of Jesus Christ!"  I can just hear John say, get the iPad2!  I need the speech to text app!  It would be awesome to have an Angel of God share info, but especially Revelation!
So, satan has a lot of people believing that Revelation can't be understood or made sense of.  He also has countless others so scared of Revelation that they won't read it.  Either way, those who do not read it for various reasons are missing a great blessing!  Revelation 22:7 says, “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in this book."  If we are to obey the words, we must understand what Jesus is saying to us in the prophecies of the Bible!
We will start into the prophecies this week.  Stay tuned, and you'll never be sorry!  The Bible will really start making sense to you!
